FIRST
DAY: CUSCO - OCONGATE - TINQUI
I pick up of the hotel and transfer in bus heading for the
town of Tinqui. During the trip we will go by numerous towns
along the valley of the river Huatanay and we will see the
archaeological remains of Pikillacta. Passing the town of
Urcos the road ascends crossing small towns and cultivation
lands in address to Ocongate; we will have the first views
of the mountain range of the Vilcanota. We will arrive to
Tinqui (3,800 m.s.n.m. ). Our camp will be located in the
vicinity of the town.
Feeding: Snack, lunch, lunch and it has dinner.
SECOND DAY: TINQUI - UPIS
We begin our walk in address to the base of the majestic
snowy Ausangate (6,372 m.s.n.m.), during this tract we will
enjoy the wonderful landscape; we will observe the residents
in their agricultural tasks and we will contemplate big
quantities of Lamas and Alpacas. After visiting the small
town of Upis (4,140 m.s.n.m.) and to share with the children
of the school, we will continue heading for the sector of
thermal waters where we will lift our camp (4,370 m.s.n.m. )
to the foot of the snowy one. It is common in this area to
see beautiful Andean geeses.
Feeding: Breakfast, snack, lunch, lunch and it has dinner.
THIRD DAY: UPIS - LAGOONS PUCACOCHA
We will overcome the step of Arapa (4,7000 m.s.n.m. ) and we
will descend to the lagoons then Paucarcocha, well-known
with the names of Jatun Pucacocha, Vinacocha and Huchuy
punacocha, where we will have excellent landscapes and we
will be able to contemplate different species of Andean
birds. Our camp will be mounted in the bank of one of the
lagoons (4,575 m.s.n.m.

FOURTH DAY: LAGOONS PUCACOCHA -
PASS PALOMANI - CHILCAPINAYA
We ascend heading for the step of Alcatani (4,650 m.s.n.m.
), we will continue the journey descending toward the lagoon
Ausangatecocha. Of this point we begin a new ascent in
address to the step of Palomani (5,050 m.s.n.m. ), after we
continue the step will descend to the valley of Machuraqay,
from which we will have attractive views of the mountains.
During the itinerary we will be able to go observing Andean
landscapes of great beauty, as well as numerous groups of
Lamas and Alpacas. Our camp will be located in the sector of
Chilcapinaya.
Feeding: Breakfast, snack, lunch, lunch and it has dinner.
FIFTH DAY: CHILCAPINAYA - VALLEY DE
JAMPA - PACHASPATA
Our journey continues along the valley of Jampa. We will be
able to observe the Andean residents in their works daily,
numerous groups of Alpacas and sheep as well as the
impressive snowy picks of Jampa and Colquecruz. We will
ascend toward the last step of height (4,600 m.s.n.m. )
observing the beautiful lagoon of Ticllacocha. Then we will
descend to the Pampas of Pachaspata we will locate our camp
beside the lagoon Qomercocha.
Feeding: Breakfast, snack, lunch, lunch and it has dinner.
SIXTH DAY: LAGOON QOMERCOCHA -
PACCHANTA
We will continue enjoying the beautiful landscapes as we
will descend for the valley in address to the town of
Pacchanta. The thermal waters located near the town will be
the best recompense for those that want to refresh having a
wonderful view of the imposing snowy Ausangate. Our camp
will rise near the town of Pacchanta.
Feeding: Breakfast, snack, lunch, lunch and it has dinner.
SEVENTH DAY: PACCHANTA - TINQUI -
CUSCO
A short journey that reflects amid a typical and beautiful
Andean landscape and pictures towns leads us from return to
the beginning point, Tinqui, completing this way this
fascinating circuit around the " Apu " Ausangate. Then we
will transport ourselves to the city of the Cusco. Transfer
to the Hotel.
