DAY1 / CUSCO
In this day you will have all day free and you can go shopping around
the typical markets in Cusco, the famous twelve sided stone, narrow
streets with the finest walls as example of Inca Architecture, and the
San Blas neighbourhood, the residence of the best artists since the
colony. Some museums such as Museum Inka.
DAY
2 / CUSCO CITY TOUR
In the afternoon city tour, visiting the Koricancha Temple and the
Cathedral. Continue to the surrounding sites: the fortress and temple of
Sacsayhuaman overlooking the city, Kenko, Puca-Pucara and Tambomachay
archeolgical sites.
DAY 3 / SACRED VALLEY
This tour is available on Tuesdays , Thursdays or Sundays.
You will be picked up at 8:45 am. Full day excursion to the Urubamba
Valley visiting: the village of Pisac, a picturesque village of colonial
aspect and its lndian market,colorful folklore and eye-catching
craftwork. Lunch provided. In the afternoon you'll visit the fortress of
Ollantaytambo, an architectural group which in the Inca times was a
gigantic agricultural, administrative, social, religious and military
complex, then yuo will vist Chinchero´s market. At the end, back to
Cusco at 6:30pm
DAY
4 / MACHU PICCHU
Catch the morning train for a full day tour of Machu Picchu, the `Lost
City of the Incas` one of the most renowned examples of Inca DREAM WITH
CUSCO 4 DAY /3 NIGHT
architecture. Surrounded by lush cloud forest, the citadel perches on a
mist-shrouded mountain top. In the afternoon return to Cusco and
transfer to hotel (D,A).
DAY
5 / CUSCO – MORAY – MARAS & SALT MINES
Huge circular agricultural terraces at Moray, built by the Incas in
natural sinkholes on a limestone plateau overlooking the Urumbamba
valley. It has been suggested that they have a cosmological meaning, but
their function, other than agricultural, remains a mystery. Nearby,
age-old terraced salt mines and ponds sit below the colonial town of
Maras.
