This
magnificent complex archaeological denominated Huchuy Qosqo,
or Small Cusco, it was known in the Inca time with the name
of Caquia Xaquixahuana and according to the
columnists it was inhabited by the Inca Viracocha until
their death. From Huchuy Qosqo one has a spectacular view of
the Sacred Valley of the Inca and of the mountains of the
Mountain
range of Urubamba. This beautiful one and I cut located
circuit very near the city of the Cusco it offers us the
possibility to observe attractiveness, Andean landscapes as
well as fauna and typical flora of the area.
FIRST DAY: TAMBOMACHAY - LAGOON
QORICOCHA
I pick up of the hotel to move in bus to the Archaeological
Group of Tambomachay (3720 m.s.n.m.) located to 20 minutes
of the city of the Cusco, where we will give beginning to
this beautiful one
and I cut circuit. The first tract of the route reflects
amid beautiful Andean landscapes heading for
the town of Qorimarca (3760 m.s.n.m.) we will appreciate the
picturesque well-known mountain grass with the Quechua name
of ichu. After an easy ascent we will arrive subsequently to
a great full pampas of
llamas we will go toward the lagoon Qoricocha (4030 m.s.n.m.)
where we will lift the camp amid a spectacular typical
landscape.
Feeding: snack, lunch, coffee time and it has dinner.
SECOND DAY: PUCAMARCA - HUCHUY
QOSQO - LAMAY - CUSCO
will Ascend toward another great pampas where they are
accustomed to pasture llamas to descend then
to the town of Pucamarca (3970 m.s.n.m.) located amid a
beautiful gulch. Near Pucamarca we will see
remains of the Inca road that drives to Huchuy Qosqo. The
last tract of the camio reflects through
mountains that dominate the Sacred Valley of the Inca.
We will arrive to an esplanade where this captivating
complex archaeological well-known Inca also gets
up as Small Cusco (3630 m.s.n.m.) of where we will have a
formidable view of the area and of the
mountains of the Mountain range of the Urubamba, as the
snowy Pitusiray (5600 m.s.n.m.) and Sahuasiray (5720 m.s.n.m.),
we will visit the archaeological group. In the afternoon we
will descend toward the town of Lamay of where we will
transport ourselves to the city of the Cusco.
