During this time of experience in the tourist operation in the Inka Roads Network of the Historic Sanctuary of Machupicchu, our company has continuously carried out actions aimed at environmentally responsible tourism, assuming our social obligations by contributing to the conservation of ecosystems and working in harmony with the environment with the purpose of reducing the negative impacts that an activity such as tourism can have on the territories visited.
Our model of tourist operation as a local travel operator agency is carried out under the best standards, oriented to receptive tourism above all; our location in the value chain of the tourist activity that we operate in the Inka Roads Network and other activities in the adventure:
PERUVIAN SACRED & ADVENTURE SRLTDA has been working and improving its processes to obtain better results in business management and operation, which is why we are currently in a process of certification with the TourCert system, Bases in international quality standards and environmental management as ISO and EMAS and the ISO guide for corporate responsibility, officially recognized by the Global Council of Sustainable Tourism. Our company is also part of the quality program run by the Destination Management Organization, OGD-Cusco, carrying out each of the implementation processes of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
We have also obtained the AENOR certification which contributes to improving the quality and competitiveness of our company, our products and services.
We are pioneers in the development of activities such as cleaning campaigns that favor the conservation of the Protected Natural Area in the Inka Road Network of the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, a task that was carried out in coordination with SERNANP. At present, we have the agreement signed with the Civil Association Tourism Care whose objective facilitates the work of collecting and transporting plastic waste, paper, cardboard and WEEE until its final disposal through the RECUSCO Project.
Part of our experience and good work of quality, sustainability and environmental awareness in the Inka Road Network of the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu has led us to make agreements and recognitions with companies in Brazil and England.
Likewise, PERUVIAN SACRED & ADVENTURE S.R.LTDA has subscribed the Code of Conduct for the Prevention of the “Sexual Exploitation of Children and Adolescents – ESNA”, in all the work and adventure tours that it develops.
In coordination with the Association of Professional Guides of Peru AGPP our travel agency and tourism is the organizer of the workshop courses on Updating Knowledge in Natural and Cultural Heritage, first aid, rescue and rescue for tourist guides who work in the Inka Trail Network of the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu.
