    Test yourself on one of the most difficult and beautiful treks offered by Peru to more than 5,000 masl / 16,000 feet in height. It knows the mountain that dominates the horizon of Cusco and shares the astonishment of the ancient Incas to venerate this impressive massif.

    In this circuit knows the native people of the zone where its inhabitants still keep their traditional costumes, and the animals graze freely.

    1. Day 1 Cusco - Ocongate - Tinqui

      Today our adventure begins. We will meet at your hotel to head to the village of Tinqui, without losing sight of the visit to many villages along the Huatanay River valley.

      We will also visit the archaeological complex of Pikillacta, an ancient pre-Inca city. Our tour will continue through the town of Urcos where we will know small villages and farmland in the direction of Ocongate to get the first views of the Vilcanota mountain range.

      Tinqui awaits us at 3,800 masl and we will settle in the vicinity. It is time to enjoy the natural view and take a walk. Do not forget that it is important to rest to acclimatize ourselves for what is on the way.

    2. Day 2 Tinqui - Upis

      We begin our trek in the direction of the majestic Ausangate (4,270 masl). We will witness a common day in the life of the Peruvian ande and we will see large amounts of llamas and alpacas in the middle of the natural landscape.

      It is time to visit the small town of Upis (4,140 masl) and share with the children of the school. To finish the day, we will continue to the hot spring sector to relax and raise our camp (4,370 masl) at the foot of the snow. It is common in this area to see beautiful Andean geese.

      Food: Breakfast, snack, lunch, snack and dinner.

    3. Day 3 Upis - Lagunas Pucacocha

      This will be an unforgettable day! After breakfast we will go to the Arapa pass (4,7000 masl) and then descend to the Paucarcocha lagoons, known as Jatun Pucacocha, Vinacocha and Huchuy Punacocha.

      Here we will pause to enjoy the landscape and contemplate different species of Andean birds. We will approach nature by camping on the edge of one of the lagoons (4,575 masl)

    4. Day 4 Laguna de Pucacocha - Paso Palomani - Chilcafinaya

      Today we will cross roads in ascent and descent. We will start towards Palomani Pass (4,650 masl), from the Ausangate Cocha Lagoon and then descend to the Hatunfinaya Valley. We will not be able to ignore the attractive views that the mountains offer us during the trip.

      We will be surrounded by Andean landscapes of great beauty, as well as numerous llamas and alpacas. We will give place to our camp in the sector of Chilcafinaya or Huchuy Finaya.

      Food: Breakfast, snack, lunch, snack and dinner.

    5. Day 5 Chilcafinaya - Valle de Jampa - Pachaspata

      The beauty of the mountain looms at every step! We will wake up early to continue through the Jampa Valley and be in contact with the Andean people in their daily work.

      We can take photos and enjoy the rural world beside groups of alpacas, sheep as well as the impressive snowy peaks of Jampa and Colquecruz. We will not stop until arriving at the last step of height (5,050 masl) to discover the beautiful lagoon of Ticllacocha.

      Then we will descend to the Pachaspata Pampa to raise our camp on the banks of the Qomercocha lagoon and rest for a new day of discovery.

    6. Day 6 Paschaspata - Laguna Qomercocha - Pacchanta

      On the road is the reward! Continue towards the town of Pacchanta where we can relax in the hot springs located near the village.

      We will be able to take a hot bath with a wonderful view of the imposing Ausangate snow, bathing in a Jacuzzi at 4,500 masl, will be an unforgettable experience.

      We can then rest in our camp near the village of Pacchanta.

    7. Day 7 Pacchanta - Tinqui - Cusco

      Our adventure is almost over, a short tour that runs in the middle of a typical Andean landscape and picturesque villages, leads us back to the starting point, Tinqui.

      Completing this fascinating circuit around the “Apu” Ausangate.

      Then we will transport you to the city of Cusco where we will take you to your hotel.
