The most important city of the Inca Empire, Cusco, is located at 3350 masl, where we will go by bus to the Sacred Valley passing through the villages of Maras, Chinchero, Urubamba and Ollantaytambo, towns with living identity that have been maintained through years. Our starting point starts at KM 82 at 2800 masl
Day 1: Cusco to Chinchero
This adventure has begun! We will drive to the town of Chinchero by bus from the city of Cusco at 08:00 a.m.
We will arrive at approximately 9:00 am, to know the roots of this town alive since incanate times.
We will begin with a visit to the colonial church of Chinchero, now known as the Church of Our Lady of the Nativity of Chinchero, one of the first Catholic buildings in Peru. Architecturally, it is a structure that mixes Inca tendencies with Hispanics from its foundations, in contrast to its front view, plant, and internal divisions.
Then we will visit the archaeological zone where we will discover the architecture and engineering of ancestral times. We will enlist to go by the Inca road for two hours towards the town of Urquillos to give way to lunch at approximately 1:00 pm. In the Sacred Valley of the Incas. We will enjoy to the maximum a visit to the town before undertaking the return to the city of Cusco by bus. Our adventure will culminate by taking you to your hotel at approximately 5:00 pm.
It is important to take into account that passengers arrive in Cusco at least two days before to acclimatize and make the trek. You can do practice tours like visiting the city and the Sacred Valley, these are gentle walks at considerable heights.
