    This circuit offers a formidable trek that crosses several ecosystems and beautiful views of the snowy mountains of the Vilcabamba, crosses the deep Canyon of the Apurímac river and intérnate in the abundant vegetation course to the citadel of Choquequirao.

    1. Day 1 Cusco - Cachora - Santa Rosa

      This adventure begins very early in the morning. We will meet at your hotel to take a bus to the town of Cachora. On the way we will cross the villages of Izcuchaca, Zurite and Limatambo; Crossing the mighty Apurimac River on the Cunyac bridge.

      The trek begins at Cachora Square (2,910 masl), where we will meet with the team to help us with luggage during the trek. During the whole trip we will be surrounded by picturesque Andean landscapes, arable land and we will see the villager in their daily farm work. We will continue towards the viewpoint (capuliyoc 3300 masl) where we will see the majesty of the Apurimac and Choquequirao River Canyon.

      We will be in a walk among the clouds and mountains enjoying extraordinary views of the mountain range of Vilcabamba emphasizing the snowy one of Salkantay (6,271 masl). We will continue through Chikiska where we will go through fruit plantations, do not forget to bring repellent since we will be accompanied by mosquitoes all the way.

      We will go to “Rosalinas beach” for lunch (1500 masl) and then ascend to the town of Santa Rosa, here you can not miss the opportunity to taste Cambray, a drink made with sugar cane. It’s been a long day, it’s time to rest in our camp and be prepared for our second day of hiking.

    2. Day 2 Santa Rosa - Maranpata - Choquequirao

      The day begins with breakfast to undertake the ascent to Maranpata (3100 masl) Nature comes to surprise us in every corner; Flora, fauna, different waterfalls that come from the snowy Padrayoq and run all the way until flowing into the mighty Apurimac River. On the way we can write pleasant memories and take pictures. We will arrive to Maranpata for lunch and continue in a steady step towards the citadel of Choquequirao.     3. Day 3 Choquequirao - Santa Rosa - Playas Rosalinas

      Today is the day when we will visit the unexplored citadel of Chokequirao. Be sure to enjoy the most by taking a walk around the Archaeological Complex and then take the return route to Santa Rosa, here we will give place to lunch. If you did not have the opportunity to take Cambray you can do it now, it will be a reward for all the effort made. We will go down to Playa Rosalinas to take a bath and raise our camp.

    4. Day 4 Playas Rosalinas - Capuliyoc - Cachora - Cusco

      Our adventure is coming to an end, we will wake up early to continue the hike up to the viewpoint of Capuliyoc where we will enjoy lunch. Today the walk will be quiet at leisure for an hour until you reach the town of Cachora. At this point we will drive to the city of Cusco to return to your hotel.
