Walk with us to the best hot springs of Cusco. Lares is the name of a small town in the northern highlands of the city. Day 1: Cusco - Cancha Cancha

The adventure begins very early in the morning. We will meet at your hotel to drive private bus to the town of Huarán (2,760 maslo 9,108 feet), in the valley of Urubamba (Sacred Valley of the Incas).

Here begins our trek through a narrow valley, we can enjoy the landscape and the typical nature of the area. After 5 hours of walking, we will arrive at Cancha Cancha (3,700 masl or 12,210 feet) where we will set up our camp to enjoy tea time and rest for a new day.

Day 2: Cancha Cancha - Quisuarani

The day begins with energy after breakfast! We will continue our trek up to the pass of the Condor to 4100 masl, by the way we will be surrounded by vegetation of the Puna and we will be able to observe the Huallatas, Andean birds.

It is time to make a stop to enjoy the majesty of Nevado la Veronica at 5,750 masl, where we will make a small ceremony of thanks to the Pacha Mama (Mother Earth). We can offer Coca candies and leaves. We will begin the descent for an hour until we reach the Laguna de Ipsaycocha where we will raise our camp on the 3,700 m.s.n.m.

Day 3: Quisuarani - Lares Hot Springs

Today we will reach the hot springs. Early and after breakfast, we will continue our walk through the second high pass of Huillquijasa (4,200 masl or 13,440 feet).

We will walk this beautiful and narrow path until hours of the afternoon, surrounded by beautiful landscapes with turquoise lagoons, until reaching the town of Cuncani (3,750 masl or 12,000 feet).

At a steady pace we continue downhill to the river Lares, near the hot springs. Then we will enlist to immerse ourselves in these hot and medicinal waters. We will set up our camp in the surroundings to enjoy tea time and dinner.

Day 4: Lares - Cusco

Do not miss out enjoying the hot springs of Lares, we have until the end of the morning to relax in its warm and medicinal waters.

Then we will return by private bus to the imperial city of Cusco in the afternoon to drive you to your hotel.
